In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Spider-Man 2, Sony Classical proudly presents Danny Elfman s iconic original score on vinyl for the first time ever. Conducted by Pete Anthony and performed by the 100+ piece Hollywood Studio Symphony orchestra, this special release features Elfman s masterful compositions for the second installment of Sam Raimi s Spider-Man trilogy, starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, and Alfred Molina. – As Peter Parker navigates his dual life as a college student and superhuman crime fighter, Elfman s score delves deep into character emotions, revisiting and expanding on his classic Spider-Man themes while introducing a bold and ominous new motif for Peter s latest nemesis, Doc Ock. The album also includes two bonus tracks composed and recorded by Elfman but not included in the final film: the action-packed, brass and percussion-led Train Appreciation and the tender, heartfelt Aunt May Packs, offering fans a glimpse into Elfman s original vision.
